This is a question we get from time to time and I will let some of the experts in Enterprise give their opinion here and I may give a few thoughts!

I am definitely interested in the Enterprise experts on this one because as someone who is dealing with the QBO side after conversion (typically w always implementing an IMS) the SKUS always need to come in as NON-inventory, and often there are lots of former parent:child situations with the way that the items are set up in enterprise and in QBO we have item/subitem and alot of times the items then won't sync properly. Sometimes I wonder if they are NOT on any kind of e-commerce channel maybe its better if they just stay in enterprise but I would say if they are wholesaling, AND selling retail all over the place on several channels that is their cue to move to an IMS.
