Client has sales and payments posting via A2x for FBA. The orders are coming in to Cin7 so they can see the activity. They do NOT HAVE costs in FBA. Their specialty amazon guy says "We don't put our costs into FBA because we want to keep it secret". OK fine. So A2x is not posting COGS. He has been giving me a COGS report from some other system. I NOW would like to pull them from Cin7. So OBV I need the orders coming into Cin7 for COGS purposes. How do you all do it? Do you simply transfer inventory to FBA location, then recognize the COGS at the POS and if so, CAN You turn on COGS postings (and turn OFF invoice posting) so it grabs COGS for each order? Furthermore, what is it reading?? The cost per unit from the posting sales document (remember no costs in amazon so it wouldn't be 'reading" anything coming over from amazon) or is it associating the SKU with the FIFO valued cost at the POS????
